About IEIES 2027
The 2027 Asia Conference on Intelligent Electrification and Industrial Energy Systems(IEIES 2027) will be held during
March 5–7, 2027 in Singapore. The conference aims to provide an international platform for researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and policymakers to exchange recent advances and practical experiences in intelligent electrification, power electronics, industrial energy systems, smart manufacturing, transportation electrification, renewable integration, and sustainable industrial technologies.
As global industries move toward decarbonization, digitalization, and high-efficiency energy utilization, electrification has become one of the most important pathways for transforming traditional industrial systems. Modern factories, transportation networks, buildings, ports, data centers, and energy infrastructures are increasingly dependent on advanced power electronics, intelligent control, electric drives, distributed energy resources, energy storage, and real-time monitoring technologies. These developments are reshaping how energy is generated, converted, distributed, stored, and consumed across industrial and urban environments.
IEIES 2027 is designed to respond to this important research and industrial trend. The conference focuses on the convergence of power electronics, electrical engineering, industrial applications, automation, energy management, intelligent control, and emerging sustainable technologies. It welcomes both theoretical studies and application-oriented contributions, including but not limited to new converter topologies, electric machines and drives, industrial power systems, smart grid technologies, energy storage systems, EV charging infrastructure, renewable energy integration, predictive maintenance, digitalized industrial energy management, and cyber-physical industrial systems.
Conference Overview
The conference focuses on how electrical energy is converted, controlled, integrated, monitored, and optimized across factories, transport infrastructure, renewable resources, distributed energy systems, and emerging low-carbon industrial ecosystems. IEIES 2027 especially welcomes work that connects theory with practice, including scalable control strategies, robust power-electronic design, predictive diagnostics, resilient industrial automation, and data-driven optimization for electrified processes.
The integration of renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, energy storage technologies, microgrids, smart sensing, industrial communication networks, and data-driven control methods has significantly expanded the scope of modern industrial energy systems. These technologies collectively enable more coordinated and intelligent operation of electrical energy across interconnected industrial and infrastructure domains. Consequently, IEIES 2027 is shaped by the increasing complexity of such systems, including reliability, efficiency, safety, resilience, and system-level optimization in electrified and networked environments.
Networking and Collaboration
IEIES 2027 will feature keynote speeches, invited talks, oral presentations, poster sessions, and academic networking activities. The conference encourages interdisciplinary discussions and aims to promote collaboration among universities, research institutes, industry organizations, and technology developers. Through this platform, participants will have the opportunity to share new findings, identify emerging challenges, and develop future partnerships in the fields of intelligent electrification and industrial energy systems.
Singapore Highlights
Singapore provides an ideal location for IEIES 2027. As a regional hub for advanced manufacturing, smart infrastructure, green energy transition, maritime and logistics industries, and urban sustainability, Singapore offers a strong environment for discussing the future of intelligent electrification and industrial energy transformation in Asia and beyond. The conference will bring together academic researchers and industry practitioners to explore how advanced electrical and energy technologies can support cleaner, smarter, and more resilient industrial systems.
